I bought this skirt at the beginning of the summer. .. I didn't really know what I would pair with it... The top is actually a dress that was extremely too short for my liking but I loved the top of it so much I just threw my high-low skirt on top and out came this outfit!

Tell-All Friday

Ever get those days where you wake up and swear you have nothing to wear? That was me today. .. and of course on a Friday, so no surprise here.  Walked into my closet and it spit out this outfit. I'm wearing a French connection skirt that I've had since high school! ! I guess it's a good thing I'm a hoarder and never really throw out any of my clothes. 

Black n' White n' Stripes All Over...

Alright fine, I have a lot more stripes in my closet than I thought. (hehe) Well, it's Thursday, which means it's ALMOST Friday, which means it's ALMOST the weekend. YAY! 

SO real reason for this post... my ACCESSORIES! I'm obsessed with Project Runway, I've been watching it since season one! This season, (season 13) Aldo has "THE WALL"! For those of you who don't watch Project Runway, it's a show with really creative designers who compete for a chance to have their own clothing line. ... Any-who, "THE WALL" is, well, a wall, but that's where the designers go to, to chose what shoes and accessories their models will be wearing down the runway.  In the past, Lord n' Taylor, Macys, and even Bluefly.com have been featured on "THE WALL".   This season showcases a lot of the amazing accessories Aldo carries, including my bracelet and necklace! 

Tales of a Tuesday

I try to stay away from stripes, vertical stripes to be exact,  because sometimes, they may make you look larger than you appear.  I have a larger chest so I've also been trying to stay away from A-line dresses... 
oh the dilemmas of a curvaceous woman (lol).   It's always important to know what fits your body, and what parts you like to accentuate. Although this dress is somewhat considered to be an A-line dress,  because it has a belt around it, it "gives me shape"

The yellow brim at the bottom of the dress is actually the fabric they used to line the skirt.  I just flipped it over and sewed it so it could stay in one place so the that the yellow would pop out more. It never hurts to be little creative sometimes!

Muggy Mondays...

I know, it's a really crappy elevator shot... and I probably could've edited it some, but I love this picture. It's kinda like my candid.  It's one of those outfits I didn't take too many pictures of while I was on vacation... this picture is pretty much the only one I have. 

I have on floral shorts... but after 5 days of eating A LOT (emphasis on the word A LOT) I wanted a more loose fitting shirt. Of course, I paired my paper hat and some sandals.
