Orange is the New....Pink?

The skirt I'm wearing used to be a dress which I bought about 6 years ago. Throughout the years,  I fluxuated in weight, so sometimes the top didn't fit or the  bottom didn't fit.  I remember packing it to go on vacation without checking to see which part didn't fit.  The night I chose to wear it, the top didn't fit.  In a tiny (very tiny) fit of rage I cut the top off and turned it into a skirt! Best decision I ever made! 

Because I decided to Wear a cream colored bag,  I chose to wear a cream colored necklace.

Teal-a Tequila

It's pretty obvious I love this style dress right? I never thought I would actually admit to loving a long dress, since growing up that's pretty much all I wore, so when I had the opportunity to dress myself, I steered CLEAR of long dresses.  But, who says you can't look sexy covered up?

Oh and uh, there is no booze posted in this post... lol... 

Prints N' Things

Every so often, you come across a beautiful print, but it's so... "printy", you don't know what to pair with it. Sometimes it's best to just let the print do the talking, while toning down all the other elements of your outfit.

The print on my dress is a Retro Print. I paired it with a simple blue jelly sandal and a straw bag. I didn't feel like accessories where necessary...

Watercolor

I love David Meister dresses. His designs fit my body type like a glove.  Shopping for dresses can get confusing especially since there are so many different categories.  A line dresses, shift dresses, silhouette dresses. And don't get me started on body types.   Pear shaped, apple bottom... the list goes on.  When I shop for dresses,  I stick with the same designers.   You are pretty much guaranteed a win.

We've all had those lazy Friday's where all you want to do is go out into the world with your pajamas on. I KNOW. I'm in that state of mind today. It's Summer, it's Friday, and I felt like being really lazy.

When shopping, I find that it's easier for women to find clothes.  Clothing for men, especially suits, are the same dreary colors: Black, Brown, Blue, and Gray.  Most men are subject to these same dull colors, so much so, even their "everyday" clothes are a bore.  It's SUMMER! Brighten up your wardrobe and don't be afraid of color! Men can wear color too!

Coco said: " Fashion changes but style endures" with that being said,  fringe is in this season!

We've left beautiful Africa, and headed to London! We did make a quick stop in Barcelona, Spain,  but didn't take too many pictures.  It's my second time visiting London, and it felt like it was the first. There's so many things to see! !  It's been said that London is like NY.  If you've never visited neither then I encourage you to stay more than two days to satisfy your thirst for the "big city". If you've been to NY, you can visit London in literally one day. I've traveled to a alot of countries (Germany, Scotland,  Austria, just to name a few) and nothing reminds me of home (NY) like London does.

What's the "right" pop of color? Something that doesn't blend in with your skin tone. Remember,  YOU make the outfit, the outfit doesn't make you!
